Privacy Policy — re4gallery

1. Who we are

re4gallery is developed and published by Emre Space (emrespace.com). This policy applies only to the re4gallery app and the backend services we operate for that product.

This policy does not cover third-party websites, stores, or services that we do not control, including Google, Google Play, or Google account settings outside the app. The emrespace.com marketing website is separate from the re4gallery app.

2. Privacy summary

In short:

• Your photos and videos are accessed on your device so you can browse albums, move media, create folders, use Quick Erase, and run organization features you choose.
• On-device AI processes selected media locally. Those jobs do not upload your library to Emre Space.
• Optional Google Sign-in creates a re4gallery account (email, name, avatar) so we can attach purchases such as Remove ads.
• Free users may see AdMob native ads in Quick Erase. A one-time Remove ads purchase turns ads off. We do not sell your personal information.
• We use Firebase for analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, and remote configuration. We do not send photo contents in those events.

3. Information we collect and process

Depending on how you use re4gallery, we may process the following categories of information.

• Device media (photos and videos): metadata and content available through your device’s media library / MediaStore so you can view, move, create albums, erase, and organize. Media files remain stored on your device.
• Account information: email address, name, and profile picture from Google Sign-in, plus a session token we issue.
• Device identifiers: a device-bound identifier (for example Android ID), device brand/model, and platform information used to bind a signed-in session to this device.
• Purchases: purchase / transaction identifiers needed to restore Remove ads, verified through RevenueCat and Google Play.
• App preferences: theme, language, album grid, and similar settings stored locally on your device.
• Local app state: pending moves, organize progress, model download / install state, and an encrypted on-device database.
• Diagnostics and usage data (via Firebase): product events, performance traces, crash logs, device / OS information, and app version. We do not include photo contents or email addresses in those events.
• Remote configuration: non-personal values such as minimum supported version and force-update messages from Firebase Remote Config.
• Advertising signals: AdMob may collect device and advertising identifiers according to Google’s advertising SDK and your consent choices. On Android the app may use the Advertising ID for ads.
• Advertising consent: Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) may record your ad-consent choice in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.

4. Photo and video access

re4gallery’s core purpose is organizing local photo and video albums. The Android app requests media permissions such as access to images and videos (and, on older Android versions, relevant storage permissions). On supported Android versions you may also grant partial / selected media access.

We use this access only to provide features you request, including:

• Listing folders and albums on the device
• Displaying thumbnails and full media in grids and viewers
• Moving or reorganizing media between folders / albums
• Creating new folders / albums
• Quick Erase (swipe-to-delete) after you confirm system delete prompts
• On-device AI organization against media you choose to process

5. On-device AI features

re4gallery may offer on-device organization using models that run on your device (including on-demand Play Feature Delivery modules). Inference is intended to happen on your device.

• Selected media is processed locally to suggest or perform organization tasks.
• We do not upload your photo or video library to Emre Space for on-device organize.
• Model packages may be downloaded or installed on demand. That download is software delivery, not an upload of your library.
• Quality depends on the model and device. Long jobs may show progress, notifications, or a foreground-service status.

6. Google Sign-in and your account

Google Sign-in is optional for local-only use. Signing in lets us attach Remove ads and related purchases to your re4gallery account.

You can permanently delete the re4gallery account from Settings in the app, or on the web at https://re4gallery.vercel.app/delete-account (Google identity verification). Deleting the account removes the profile, sessions, devices, and purchase records we store. It does not delete photos on your device, and it does not cancel Google Play purchases.

7. Purchases

Optional one-time products are billed through Google Play and verified with RevenueCat, including a non-consumable Remove ads purchase. Payment card details are handled by Google, not by Emre Space.

We store enough purchase and entitlement data to restore Remove ads after a successful purchase. Deleting the re4gallery account does not refund or cancel a Play purchase.

8. Advertising

Free users may see native ads from Google AdMob in Quick Erase. Ads are turned off after a successful Remove ads purchase.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) may ask for advertising consent before ads are requested.

AdMob may collect device and advertising signals according to Google’s advertising SDK and your consent choices. We do not send your photo library or Google account email to AdMob to personalize those ads. We do not sell your personal information.

9. Notifications and background activity

With your permission where the operating system requires it, re4gallery may show notifications for organize jobs, model downloads, or similar operational status. The Android app may use a foreground service for longer organize or download work so the system can keep the job running while informing you that work is in progress.

These mechanisms complete tasks you requested. They are not used to send marketing push campaigns.

10. Analytics and diagnostics

re4gallery uses Google Firebase services to operate and improve the app:

• Firebase Analytics — product events (for example screens, organize, Quick Erase, and purchases) with non-personal parameters. Advertising-identifier collection for Analytics is off in the app.
• Firebase Crashlytics (including NDK) — crash stacks and related diagnostics.
• Firebase Performance Monitoring — traces for startup and key flows.
• Firebase Remote Config — minimum supported version and force-update messaging.

11. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share or disclose information only in these limited ways:

• Vercel — to host the re4gallery API.
• Neon — to store accounts, sessions, devices, and related data.
• Google Sign-in — to verify your identity when you choose to sign in.
• Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance, and Remote Config — as described above.
• Google AdMob and Google UMP — ads and advertising consent for free users, as described above.
• RevenueCat and Google Play — to process and verify in-app purchases.
• Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and integrity.
• Business changes: if Emre Space or re4gallery is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate privacy protections.

12. Storage, security, and retention

Communications with our API use HTTPS/TLS. Local app data may use an encrypted on-device database. Session tokens are stored in platform secure storage. Cloud backup of app data is disabled.

Local preferences and local organize state remain on your device until you clear app data, uninstall the app, or the operating system deletes the data. Your photo and video library is retained by your device; uninstalling re4gallery does not by itself delete that library.

We keep account and token data while your re4gallery account exists and as needed to operate the service. When you permanently delete the account we wipe associated data we store (profile, sessions, devices, and purchase records we hold). Uninstalling the app without deleting the account leaves server-side data in place until you delete the account.

Firebase analytics, crash, and performance data are retained according to Google Firebase retention settings and our operational needs.

13. Children’s privacy

re4gallery is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

14. Your choices and rights

If the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), or similar laws apply to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Türkiye, the Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu). • Revoke media, notification, or related permissions in system settings
• Sign out or permanently delete your re4gallery account from Settings, or use https://re4gallery.vercel.app/delete-account
• Revoke re4gallery access at myaccount.google.com/permissions
• Clear app storage / cache or uninstall the app
• Where Google requires it, complete or reopen advertising consent choices (typically EEA, UK, and Switzerland)
• Manage Play purchases in your Google Play account settings

15. International processing

Our processors (including Vercel, Neon, Google, Firebase, and RevenueCat) may process data in the United States or other countries where they operate infrastructure. If you use re4gallery from another country, information may be transferred internationally subject to those providers’ safeguards and applicable law, including KVKK and GDPR where they apply.

16. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date on this page. For material changes, we may provide additional notice in the app or on emrespace.com.

17. App stores and platform permissions

When you download re4gallery from Google Play, that store’s own privacy practices also apply to download, billing, reviews, and account management. Platform permission dialogs are controlled by the operating system vendor.
